Case study: a connected commercial system

Not five projects. One commercial system.

For Quadrant Farming Solutions, a national importer of European farming products, HPCR built the commercial machinery as one connected system: corporate positioning, product websites, customer education and tools, stockist onboarding, CRM automation and management reporting.

Where the business was

Quadrant imports proven European farming products and sells them through a national network of rural stockists. The products were strong. The commercial machinery around them had grown piece by piece: the brand did not communicate the quality of what it carried, new stockists learned the products informally, and management worked without a clear view of sales activity and pipeline.
02

The commercial problem

Distribution businesses win in three places at once: the customer has to want the product, the stockist has to know how to sell it, and management has to see where attention is needed. A weakness in any one of the three caps the other two. Solving them separately, a website here, a CRM there, would have left the gaps between them untouched.
03

The original brief

The visible need was websites that did the products justice. What the business actually needed was the connected machinery behind national distribution.
04

What HPCR identified

HPCR identified that the websites, the education, the tools, the onboarding and the reporting were one system, and designed the engagement that way: corporate positioning, product websites, customer education and comparisons, calculators, stockist locators, onboarding automation, CRM workflows, management reporting and the sales-process design underneath it all. Much of what was built was proposed by HPCR rather than requested.
05

What HPCR designed and built

The system runs in three layers. The brand layer: premium corporate positioning and dedicated websites for the flagship product lines, Stalosan F and X-Zelit, each giving the product a proper commercial home for Australian farming customers.
The customer layer: education-led tools that do sales work. Cost calculators turn advertising into concrete estimates, stockist locators turn product interest into store visits, and produced farmer case study videos let customers hear results in a farmer's own words.
The sales and management layer: an automated onboarding and education sequence for every new stockist, HubSpot workflows and forms that keep the CRM clean, and a dedicated reporting platform that answers the questions management actually asks. Each layer has its own detailed study below.

Who uses the system

Farmers use the product sites, calculators and locators. Stockists are onboarded and educated through the automated sequence, and benefit from being findable at the exact moment a customer wants the product. The sales team works inside a CRM that the system keeps consistent. Management reads the reporting.
07

How the pieces connect

A campaign creates interest, the product site educates, a calculator makes the cost concrete, the locator sends the customer to a stockist, the sale lands with a retailer who has been onboarded and educated automatically, the activity is recorded in the CRM, and management sees the whole pipeline in the reporting. Remove any link and the chain weakens. That is why it was built as one system.
WORKFLOW

How demand and data move through one system

Campaign creates interest
Advertising and brand work reach the farmer
02
Product site educates
Premium positioning and the facts that matter

A personal estimate from the farmer's own numbers
04
Locator directs the visit

05
Sale lands with a prepared retailer
The stockist has been onboarded and educated
THE DATA JOURNEY
01
Stockist joins the network
A new retailer signs up to carry the products
02
Onboarding enrols automatically
The education sequence starts without manual work
03
Activity lands in the CRM
Engagement, sales activity and pipeline recorded
04
Management reads the reporting
The whole system, measurable in one place
08

What changed

The product brands now present at the level the products deserve, under one consistent premium position. New stockists arrive into a designed onboarding experience rather than an ad hoc one. Management steers with data: which campaigns engage stockists, where the pipeline sits and what deserves attention next. Where results are commercially sensitive we do not publish figures, and we apply the same discretion to every client.
09

Where it can go next

The rebuilt main Quadrant corporate site is in progress, and the system is designed to carry future additions such as a stockist ordering portal, which is planned rather than built. Because the layers share one data spine, each addition strengthens the reporting rather than fragmenting it.
INSIDE THE SYSTEM

One system beats five projects

If your brand, your tools, your CRM and your reporting are separate purchases from separate suppliers, we will show you what they look like as one system.
